THE AASP PARTICIPATES IN UPCOMING MULTIDISCIPLINARY SPINE SYMPOSIUM
The American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP) will participate in a Symposium on Spinecare scheduled for March 24-25 of 2007. ÔÇ£Management of Spine Disorders, 2007, Bridging the Gap in SpinecareÔÇØ is sponsored by the Ohio State Chiropractic Association, the Cleveland Clinic and the AASP. Dr David Radford, a member of the AASP, has been influential in setting up the program. Speakers associated with the AASP include Dr. Ed Benzel, neurosurgeon at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr George Dohrmann, neurosurgeon at the University of Chicago and Dr David Durrant, chiropractic neurologist at the Chicago Neuroscience Institute. All three are members of the AASP Academy Council. Other speakers include Drs. Richard Schlenk and Robert McLain of the Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute among other notable spine specialists and radiologists.

The course sponsor, Drs. Hill & Thomas Co. radiology, and the co-sponsors OSCA, NUHS, Cleveland Clinic Spine Institute and New Chapter have extended the registration discount for all OSCA members until March 16, 2007.
"This multidisciplinary course that will be held on March 24-25 received final approval later than we anticipated and as a result some doctors were unaware of the board approval for 12 hours of Category II credit until after the original deadline," reported Dr. David Radford, one of the event speakers.
